Dear Mom, I love to see you writing so many notes on your iPhone and iPad.  You really are quite the techno-savvy chica these days!  Good on ya!

Dear Dad,

The way you passed on my spider crisis and made things happen was so 'effin cool.  Seriously.  I can't wait to write a post about my 8 legged friends.

Dear Family,

Your photos of a lone bagpiper warmed my heart.  How I wish I could have heard Amazing Grace with you.  I'm so glad that you're all together.

Dear North Atlantic,

I know you've had a lot to deal with lately....like Leslie and Mike....and Nadine but seriously, enough with the beam seas already.  I'm tired of rolling.  Do you know how hard it is to type in overtime while sitting in a swivel chair?  No?  I didn't think so....

Dear Nautie Books Readers,

Well?  You've been amazingly quiet about UNBROKEN.  Was September just not the right month for such a serious book?

Dear Stewards Department,

If you try to feed me one more hot dog I might go mental.  Just sayin'

Dear Head Lamp,

I love you so much.  I think I've told you this before but, I don't think it can be said enough.  The way you show me the light....it's amazing.  I especially love the way you fit in my pocket.  You help me walk home from the bar, you help me enter cargo holds, you help me type on a dark bridge.  Love.

Dear Cell Phone Reception,

I really miss you.  Like a lot.  I really wish I could scroll through instagram, or download a song, or heck....call someone!  Soon, very soon my friend....

What the heck am I supposed to do next?  Maine?  Hawaii?  West Coast?  Why does it feel so complicated?  A sign....a sign would be nice....

Listen- I'm not a freakin' computer guru.  All I know is that you gotta start somewhere.  I hate to break it to ya but computers...they're not going anywhere!

I was really, really hoping that I'd have you to drink for my whole trip.  How am I supposed to mellow out without some Tension Tamer?!  How am I supposed to go to sleep without some Sleepy Time?!

Can you please tell us where we're going?  Pretty please?  This whole not knowing business is really cramping my style.  Thank you.

Dear Bose Dock,

When I plug my iPod in and crank you up you rock my world.  It makes sitting at my desk answering work related emails so much more fun.  I especially love your handy dandy remote.  That way when Ke$ha comes on I can really rock out.

Dear Saucony Sneakers,

The way you started to fall apart after not too much wear is lame.  I liked you.  I mean, I really liked you.  Then, out of the blue, the liners started scrunching up under my feet.  What the eff?  Not cool.

Dear Tiki Drawer,

I love this little piece of art.  It will for sure go into my treasured keepsakes pile.  The fact that this Tiki has shell casing eyebrows makes him so much cooler.

Dear Baisey,

Spray tans, cowboy boots and fairy houses.  I love notes from you.  Keep them boys dancing!  Kitchen dancing is a skill every young man should master.

Dear Nautie Friends,

I don't think I have said this enough.  I really love you.  I mean I really and truly love you all.  Thanks for checking in and leaving comments, thanks for reading my book suggestions, thanks for hating pirates with me.

Try not to be too snappish.  This isn't an Ally McBeal episode...people don't actually like snappish co-workers.  Also, don't forget to do laundry before the next port or you won't have any clean socks.
