Nautie Friends, as your comments rolled in yesterday I laughed and laughed and laughed! I made it through the day with my ill-fitting nylons and today opted for pants!

Today is my last day in the office. I have very mixed feelings about leaving. I'm excited to go back to sea. I'm excited to get back to Maine and see some friends. I'm looking forward to having a dresser and laundry facilities. I'm even looking forward to some snow and cold (that will last for all of five minutes-scraping my windows will remind me a temperate climate isn't too bad). BUT. I'm sad to leave the office! I'm sad that I won't be able to hang out with friends on weekends. I'm sad that I will be eating ships food soon. I'm sad that I won't be able to enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings. C'est la vie.

There is a twelve hour drive in my not so distant future. I'm busy making preparations for a car ride. Healthy snacks, coffee canisters, comfortable outfit, good music, sunglasses, cell phone and ear bud all charged up. My packing hasn't yet commenced so that is looming over my head.

If you don't hear from me in a few days it's because I'm scrambling around or driving :) Hopefully, it's both! (However, I think you'll hear from me...)
